The Christian Letter, Volume One: Chapter 14, Intro
Have you ever had a watch or a hat that you wore all the time? It was like a heritage, a part of you. Have you ever had a day where you were without that watch or hat, and you felt, somehow, naked? Right now, you feel that same way, but due to something almost like amnesia, you don’t recognize your own present feeling.
The manner of dress within the Bible is not how we dress today. Should we, living in a different culture and a different century, adhere to these principles? Sometimes we think that a different way, or a different style, is just as good or close enough, but until we give His Word a chance, we will never see the joy of following Him without the hindrance of reservation. We will never be able to reclaim our heritage. What I am about to say in the following six sections, as with all the things I write, will not be agreed upon by many who claim position within the church, so remember this always: The Spirit leads you to His Footsteps, the spirits lead you away.
