The Christian Letter, Volume One: Chapter 67: The Last Chapter
What would happen to care-centers if they refused donations, even a mere coin from a widow? Would Grandmother’s cookies even exist if she had refused a recipe book all those years ago? What would we have in our hearts if we said, “No, thank you.” to the gift of our Saviour? “All this I did show you, by labouring like this, that you ought to help the weak. And remember the words of the Master Yahoshuah, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35). Yet, if we do not receive, we have robed the Giver of His blessing.
Some may ask, “What if the gift given is not very good?” The gift of our being to Yahoshuah is full of poisons, lies, pains, and all manners of sin; yet, Yahoshuah takes this gift, and gives the Spirit, Truth, and life more abundant back to us. If we decided to refuse receiving, we could not honestly be givers, as the joy in giving cannot be obtained without the joy of receipt. Therefore, be a cheerful receiver and bless your giver. As my parting words, allow me to give to you just a few of my favorite passages given to me.
“Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of His hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in His cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and the Name of His Son? Tell me if you know!” (Proverbs 30:4).
“For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
“And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. (1 John 2:3-6).
“All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it—do not add to it nor take away from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:32).
“Iron sharpens iron, so one sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17).
“For I am Yahoweh, I shall not change, and you, O sons of Ya’aqob, shall not come to an end.” (Malachi 3:6).
“Yahoshuah Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8).
“But Kepha said, ‘I do not have silver and gold, but what I do possess, this I give you: In the Name of Yahoshuah Messiah of Natsareth, rise up and walk.’” (Acts 3:6).
“This is the taught one who bears witness about these matters, and wrote these matters. And we know that his witness is true. Now there is much else that Yahoshuah did. If every one of them were written down, I think that the world itself would not contain the written books. Amen.” (John 21:24-25).
“And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master Yahoweh, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’el from among the gentiles, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land. And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’el. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns. And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim,”’” (Ezekiel 37:21-23).
“O Yeshurun, there is no one like El, riding the heavens to help you, and on the clouds, in His excellency. The Elohim of old is a refuge, and beneath are everlasting arms. And He drives out the enemy from before you and says, ‘Destroy!’ Thus Yisra’el dwells in safety, the fountain of Ya’aqob alone, in a land of grain and new wine. His heavens also drop down dew. Blessed are you, O Yisra’el! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahoweh, the shield of your help, and He who is the sword of your excellency! And your enemies are subdued for you, and you tread down their high places.” (Deuteronomy 33:26-29).
“And He said, ‘Go out, and stand on the mountain before Yahoweh.’ And see, Yahoweh passed by, and a great and strong wind tearing the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before Yahoweh—Yahoweh was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake—Yahoweh was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire—Yahoweh was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice. And it came to be, when Eliyahu heard it, that he wrapped his face in his robe and went out and stood at the cave opening. And see, a voice came to him, and said, ‘What are you doing here, Eliyahu?’” (1 Kings 19:11-13).
“Not to us, O Yahoweh, not to us, but to Your Name give esteem, for Your kindness, for Your truth.” (Psalms 115:1).
“And it came to be at the end of seven days that the Word of Yahoweh came to me, saying, ‘Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Yisra’el. And you shall hear a Word from My mouth, and shall warn them from Me. When I say to the wrong, “You shall certainly die,” and you have not warned him, nor spoken to warn the wrong from his wrong way, to save his life, that same wrong man shall die in his crookedness, and his blood I require at your hand. But if you have warned the wrong and he does not turn from his wrong, nor from his wrong way, he shall die in his crookedness, and you have delivered your being. And when a righteous one turns from his righteousness and shall do unrighteousness, when I have put a stumbling-block before him, he shall die. Because you did not warn him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done is not remembered, and his blood I require at your hand. But if you have warned the righteous one that the righteous should not sin, and he did not sin, he shall certainly live because he has been warned, and you have delivered your being.” (Ezekiel 3:16-21).
“Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” (1 John 3:4).
“But if you do not do so, then see, you shall sin against Yahoweh, and know: your sin is going to find you out.” (Numbers 32:23).
“And she said, ‘No one, Master.’ And Yahoshuah said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.’” (John 8:11).
“A lion has roared! Who is not afraid? The Master Yahoweh has spoken! Who would not prophesy?” (Amos 3:8).
“‘Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit, teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew 28:19-20).
“‘Futility! Futility!’ said the Qoheleth, ‘All is futile.’
And besides being wise, Qoheleth also taught the people knowledge, and he listened and sought out—set in order many proverbs. Qoheleth sought to find out words of delight, and words of truth, rightly written. The words of the wise are like goads, and as nails driven by the masters of collections—they were given by one Shepherd. And besides these, my son, be warned—the making of many books has no end, and much study is a wearying of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear Elohim and guard His commands, for this applies to all mankind! For Elohim shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:8-14).
Now that you have heard everything,
Here is the final conclusion:
Fear Yahoweh, and keep His Commandments—
Walk as the Messiah walks!
…
Be Blessed and be a Blessing
Shalom
If this blessed you, please share it.
